The mission of Westchester Reform Temple is to insure the perpetuation of the Jewish people and to cultivate a love of our Jewish heritage: God, Torah and Israel. We hope to realize this through: Avodah – worship of God in a Reform Jewish congregation seeking to offer a variety of traditional and evolving spiritual practices for the religious development and fulfillment of our members; Chavurah - an open, dynamic community of women and men of all ages and sexual orientations, families of all configurations and backgrounds, all committed to creating a warm and welcoming Reform Jewish congregation; Talmud Torah – an enlightened program of Jewish learning for all members, young and old; Tikkum Olam – commitment to the ideals of our Jewish ethical heritage and to the prophetic work of meeting our responsibilities to our community, our nation and our world; Clal Yisrael – strengthening of our commitment to Israel and the Jewish people of all lands and working to establish understanding and commonality among the various expressions of Judaism.
