The Twisted Oak, offering New American - Farm-to-Table cuisine, is located at 61 Main Street, Tarrytown, NY 10591 in one of the River Towns of Westchester County.
About Twisted Oak: "Located in the Athen's Building, The Twisted oak is set in the space that formerly housed Isabella’s, a restaurant staple in Tarrytown for more than 30 years. In the early 1900's, the building served as the studio for F. Athens, who was responsible for much of the turn of the turn-of-the-century photography in Tarrytown.
"The Twisted Oak takes a fun and casual approach to Modern Cuisine sourcing from local Hudson Valley farmers. Influenced by Chef Michael Cutney's Italian-American roots, The Twisted oak offers a daily changing menu using modern cooking techniques to reinvent classic dishes while keeping simplicity of the ingredients and local sustainable Agriculture the focal point of the twisted oak Menu.
"The Twisted Oak features a bar that was handcrafted from reclaimed French Oak wine barrels. The Main dining room is dressed with paintings from local artist Rick Parenti, who is well known for his still lives and Pastels. All of Parenti's artwork can be purchased on site. The idea was to preserve as much of the early Victorian Architecture as possible, looking to create a comfortable farmhouse feel perfectly matching the menu mission for The Twisted Oak."
